Steve began organized sports at an early age and competed year around in baseball, football, and basketball. In high school, at Cardinal Mooney in Youngstown, Ohio, he participated in football and was on the 1987 State Championship Football team. Steve was a 2yr. letter winner in football and is proud of the fact the he excelled in the technique of long-snapping and field goals snapping, with no miscues during either junior nor senior year as the starter in those positions.
While attending Bowling Green State University, Steve played 4 years on inter-collegiate Rugby and started on the A-side as a freshman through senior year, helping the falcons climb to #3 in the nation during that tenure. Steve graduated with a B.S. in Environmental Science.
After graduation from BGSU, Steve moved on to obtain an MBA at YSU and enjoyed training for triathlons and duathlons throughtout the Ohio region while working in the corporate business world. Steve has a great passion for sports performance and the believes that through hard work and determination anything is possible. He feels blessed in his ability to teach technique and progression in athletic movements regardless of the sport. He is excited about House of Speed and how the the science and techniques of what we do can bring athletes in the area to a new level. Steve currently works at a local third party logistics firm and is the proud owner of the Youngstown House of Speed franchise.
