We were at a party for Labor Day and a guy there had on a Packer’s jersey. I saw it and thought nothing of it until my daughter Mikel went up to him and said she liked the Packers too. I turned around and before I could say “no you don’t, you don’t even know anything about the Packers” she went into this big speech about them. She told the guy she went to this speed clinic and Don Beebe was there and he gave her an autograph picture and told them all the famous story about Leon Lett.

I couldn’t believe it. I just stood there as this guy was amazed at all she knew and so was I. I was shocked that she remembered all that and I didn’t even think about him being a Packer. (we are 49er and Steeler fans in our house)

It was nice to see what an impact Don has made on her and how much she really listened that day. Pretty cool for 8 years old.
